Office coffee machines: bean-to-cup models for teams
In an office nobody wants to be the barista. A bean-to-cup machine grinds, brews and froths milk at the press of a button. Compared with a home machine, what changes is how many drinks it can make in a day, how big the bean container and the water tank are, and whether it can be connected to a water line.
What matters in an office
- Recommended daily output: the manufacturer states it. Choose a machine rated above your busiest day.
- Bean container and water tank: bigger means fewer refills. A fixed water connection ends refilling for good.
- Milk: a milk cooler or fridge next to the machine keeps milk fresh all day.
- Cleaning: automatic rinsing and cleaning programmes save time, but one person still has to own the job.
- Service: ask who repairs it, how fast, and whether a replacement machine is lent during repairs.

Why a local dealer is often the better choice
Large office machines are usually sold, installed and serviced by local dealers or office coffee companies, sometimes with coffee, service and the machine in one monthly fee. Compare at least two offers.
