The space between a counter and the wall cabinets is often only about 45 cm (18 in), and less in some kitchens. Tall all-in-ones with a bean hopper on top may not fit, or may fit but be hard to refill.
These machines are among the lowest in our comparison. Heights are from manufacturer and retailer listings; check the listing for your exact version.

Tips before you buy
Leave room to refill
Most water tanks and bean hoppers fill from the top. Leave about 10 cm (4 in) above the machine, or choose one with a front-access tank.
Mind the steam
Steam and heat rise. Do not run a machine pushed tight against the underside of a cabinet for long periods.
How we chose

FAQ
How much space do I need under my cabinets?
Add about 10 cm (4 in) to the machine's height so you can refill it comfortably.
Do bean-to-cup machines fit under cupboards?
Some do. A few compact models are low and open from the front. Taller models need more space.
